Special Issue on Distributed Computing Algorithms and Large Data Processing Applications

Aims and Scope:The 4th industrial revolution poses challenges in cross-disciplinary fields. Several intriging problems in sustainable agriculture, intelligent transportation, health care and education, disaster surveilance and control, etc., cannot be efficiently dealt by the traditional solutions. The recent development of communication technologies and artificial intelligent techniques faciliates collecting huge volumes of data on devices and applying distributed computing methods for large data analysis. Several novel and smart solutions with high scalability and distribution have been and are being studied and efficiently applied to solving practical problems in industries, manufactures, and services.
